We’re passionate about helping you and your family flourish.

Meet Abbie

“Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here! My passion is working with families and their children to feel a sense of hope and groundedness in their lives! I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings with children from the classroom, to homes, to childcare centers, to community centers and working alongside parents and caregivers to build on a family and child’s strengths to meet goals is one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had! As a mom of two boys, I’ve come to realize how my community that cheers me on has had such an impact on both my own and my sons’ lives, and I hope to be a cheering voice for you and your child as well!”

Abbie graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education from Bob Jones University and then went on to complete Masters degrees in Business from Western Governors University and Human Services Counseling from Liberty University. She has worked in the classroom both as the main and substitute teacher, an early interventionist, and currently also teaches Child Development and Early Intervention classes at the college-level. She enjoys travelling with her husband, Andrew, and their two sons, Barrett and Camden. In her spare time, you can find her trying a new coffee shop with a good friend or a good book and playing frisbee with her German Shepherd!

Meet Jennifer

Jennifer graduated from USC Upstate where she obtained her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Jennifer taught 1st grade for 2 years before becoming an Early Interventionist. Jennifer has been an EI for the past 5 years.

“I have loved being able to work alongside families over the years and help them in their unique journey. Early Intervention is such a rewarding job. I love being able to help not only the child, but the whole family. Being able to connect with the family and see them grow as a team and be able to help one another out is such a blessing. When you are able to be a family that sees concerns and address them together, your family will be unstoppable!

I am married to my husband, Ansel, and we are welcoming a sweet baby girl into our family in the fall. We have two dogs that are spoiled rotten. We love being outside as a family, traveling, and hiking new places!”

Meet Brianna

Brianna received her degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Maranatha University and is currently working on completing her Masters in Counseling. She has dedicated her life to working in daycare, nannying, tutoring, and teaching over the years. She gained much of her experience in her own classroom teaching 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade as well as establishing a new resource program in her elementary school. She has even traveled to Uganda to conduct teacher training and immerse herself in teaching in African schools. It is safe to say that where you find children you will find Bri as well! She also enjoys reading, gardening, and trying any new, yummy recipes!

“It is my privilege and an honor to be a part of the Flourishing Families team and to join your family’s team as well. If I have learned anything over the years, it is this: life is hard! I look back on the people who have helped me through difficult and trying times and am grateful for the patience and care that has been shown to me. One of my deepest desires is to be the same encouragement and support in your life! Life is not meant to be lived alone, so let’s get to work on identifying and meeting your family’s specific goals together!”
